let it roll

we had a great night last friday at the rockhouse - so much so that i'm only getting around to blogging about it now! it's been a busy couple of weeks for us, but absolutely rewarding - we had the showcase set at the rock house last friday night filmed, and we're looking forward to getting that back so as to share it with all of you - keep an eye on this space. you were all such a wonderful crowd that i know the video's going to turn out terrifically!
we also had a photoshoot with the very lovely and talented ruth skinner last weekend, and we've got those photos back - she does good works, friends, very good works.

there are a couple things coming up that we're either waiting to hear back on, or waiting to be able to announce - so hold tight your horses for just a little while, i should be able to be just a little more informative in the next little while.

may your first child be a masculine child,

keepin' busy!

hello friends! what a few weeks it has been!

thanks so much to everyone who joined us at the rock house on the 25th and at distortion on the 8th - the houses were packed and the crowds just plain lovely - you treat us wonderfully, and we love you for it. we're ever so happy to be back in action once again! a special notice of gratitude to those in attendance on the 1st in marystown - thank you for making us feel so welcome! we hope to return soon.

housekeeping, right off - i've just had a first pressing done of our inaugural t-shirt design, and they're already more than half gone, so don't dally in picking up yours! they're american apparel, in men's and women's sizes, and they fit and feel so nice.

finally, we have one more big show planned for this summer - we've been chosen to headline the opening showcase for the 'our future in music' conference this coming friday, it's a show at the rock house with jazz guitarist margaret stowe from toronto and a friend of mine by the name of chad murphy - maybe you've heard of him? he's fabulous. moral of the story is, the show will be rockin', and have i yet mentioned that it is FREE? come one, come all, bring everyone you know and sing at the top of your lungs because we're planning to have catcher's set filmed for posterity - i want all your shining faces on there.

we've got some exciting stuff planned into the fall and beyond - so stay tuned, lovers, and thank you again for the fantastic turnouts at the gigs we've played so far this summer - my little heart swells.

peace be with you (and also with you),
t
