and just like that, it was all done! the last consecutive gig of tour - we have the rock house yet, a week from now, but the tour proper is pretty much done. holy shit man! kinda crazy that it's all over now - we've got to get to home tomorrow, lunch in grand falls and home before dinner, with any luck.

jeez. a month down, just like that. crazy.

hello, hello, hello -

today we bid toronto a second (and final) farewell for this tour. we got to the zoo this time around, and had a private victoria day fireworks show on the roof last night. i made fantastic spaghetti and today we had enormous (afternoon) breakfast before we ship out to st. catharines.

we saw juck off a couple days ago - he's has to go home because some family stuff came up. it kinda sucks, but it's just a difference - i also play guitar, i'll just do more of it. the feel of the show will change a bit, that's all - no worse, just a change. woulda been good to be able to finish the tour as we started it, but the ability to cope with adversity is one i value pretty highly - so adjust we will. i have faith in my boys, and our ability to put off just as a good a show as a trio.

on the road to kingston in sunny weather, suddenly. stayed with my cousin and his beautiful children after a really successful gig at maverick's in ottawa. now that we've hit ontario, the hope is that the daily drives will get shorter and i'll be filling the tank less frequently.

again and again, i have to emphasize how well the band has come together - i'm positively tickled at how everyone's playing and getting along together. spirits are high and everyone's really enjoying themselves - i couldn't be happier. more news soon.
